Fundraising

The main Summer Strum Festival supports two charities close to our hearts - Wirral Mind and Wirral Hospice St Johns. Last year you helped raise just under £4000 for each charity through buying from their stalls, bucket collections, raffle proceeds and stallholder donations - a phenomenal effort making the total raised over the past 6 years to just over £18k!

Despite the festival moving online this year we will carry on raising funds through various intiatives and aim to hit the £20k mark.

All profits from the sale of Summer Strum 2020 Tshirts will be donated to Wirral Mind and St Johns Hospice. Orders are now closed but thank you to everyone who has ordered this great souvenir of the festival 'that never was'. They have all been delivered now and we look forward to your modelling photos!

We have also set up virtual bucket collections on our Facebook Page:

Donate to Wirral Mind here: https://www.facebook.com/donate/580419086213278/

Donate to Wirral Hospice St Johns here: https://www.facebook.com/donate/2670613439825496/

AND we plan to hold a virtual raffle over the actual Online Festival Weekend - 3rd/4th July 2020.

Any prize donations are welcome. Please get in touch here.

We were lucky again to receive funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. With this we have been able to offer free workshop and yoga/mindfulness classes at the online festival this year. We have also set up a Zoom account so that our Summer Strum groups can keep in touch over the lockdown and beyond - this has been invaluable.
