Summer Strum is a not-for-profit, self funded event organised and run by a team of fantastic volunteers! The cost of staging the festival is met by sponsorship, grants, fundraising by and the regions' ukulele community and the support of various businesses - see Friends of the Festival.
It is because of this support that the 'Strum' is able to take place as a free to all spectactular event.

26th October 7pm at WEST KIRBY ARTS CENTRE - our annual PLINK & PLONK. This will be our third year of teaming up with Stone-based sommelier James Gillespie of Touchstone Wines. A great evening of wine-tasting - this year Wines from the Rhone Valley - and music from Broken Strings, Rosie Wright and James himself who is a formidable Blues singer. Don't miss out - 70 tickets available.
31st October 8pm at Whitt's End Wine and Cocktail Bar, Hoylake - Halloween Open Mic to promote the festival and raise some cash for charity. All are welcome. £2 to perform your spooky songs, poems, stories - anything goes as always.
